About the Company
The client is building a live prediction market platform focused on esports and gaming-driven audiences. The product sits at the intersection of real-time markets, competitive gaming culture, and community-led growth. Users don’t arrive through traditional fintech funnels—they come from Discords, stream chats, Telegram groups, creators, and betting communities, and they stay only if the experience is fast, social, and trustworthy. This is not a brand-first or awareness-driven company. Growth is measured in funded users, first trades, retention, and cohort performance, not impressions.
About the Project
We are supporting a team scaling user acquisition and community growth across two core verticals:
- Esports betting audiences looking for alternatives to traditional sportsbooks
- Crypto-native communities comfortable with real-time markets and on-chain concepts The growth motion is hands-on, experimental, and performance-driven. Channels are tested quickly, budget moves fast, and tactics that don’t convert are dropped. Community is treated as a measurable growth lever, not a branding exercise. The company is early enough that there is real white space, but far enough along that growth decisions have immediate revenue impact.
About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Growth & Partnerships to own user acquisition, community growth, and partnerships end-to-end, with a strong focus on LATAM markets. This is a builder role, not a strategy-only position. You will personally run experiments, launch channels, manage creators, and be able to answer, clearly and quantitatively:
“How do we get 100 new funded users tomorrow — and what will it cost?” You will own the full growth funnel—from first touch to first trade to long-term retention—and be directly accountable for performance.
Role and Responsibilities
User Acquisition & Growth Ownership
- Own and execute user acquisition strategies targeting esports betting and crypto-native audiences.
- Manage the full growth funnel:
- Acquisition
- Activation (first deposit / first trade)
- Retention and cohort performance
- Define and own KPIs such as:
- FTDs / deposits
- WAU / MAU
- Retention and LTV
- CAC
- Launch, test, and scale multi-channel campaigns:
- Paid acquisition
- Affiliates
- Creators and streamers
- Organic and community-driven channels
- Run a rigorous experimentation roadmap:
- A/B tests
- Creative and channel experiments
- Funnel diagnostics and cohort analysis
- Rapidly reallocate budget toward tactics that show real performance lift.
Outbound Growth & Partnerships
- Identify and activate partnerships with:
- Esports communities
- Betting-adjacent platforms
- Creators and media brands
- Build outbound growth pipelines:
- Creator outreach
- Community partnerships
- Affiliate and referral programs
- Convert non–prediction-market audiences through partnerships and direct activation strategies.
Community Development & Engagement
- Build and scale communities on:
- Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Reddit
- Treat community as a performance channel, with clear acquisition and retention metrics.
- Design and continuously optimize community-first onboarding flows.
- Launch and manage:
- Ambassador programs
- Micro-influencer initiatives
- Organize virtual events:
- Esports watch parties
- Tournaments
- Community competitions
Influencer & Creator Management
- Identify, recruit, and manage esports, betting, and gaming creators.
- Structure creator partnerships with clear growth and revenue objectives.
- Negotiate collaborations for sponsored, interactive, and community-driven content.
- Maintain alignment with brand values and responsible play standards.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- 4+ years in growth, user acquisition, or community-led growth roles
- Direct experience growing esports betting or sportsbook products (not adjacent brand campaigns)
- Proven ownership of revenue and funnel metrics:
- Deposits
- FTDs
- Retention and cohorts
- Hands-on experience managing meaningful acquisition budgets
- Strong experimentation muscle:
- Regular A/B testing
- Creative iteration
- Channel validation
- Deep familiarity with LATAM acquisition channels:
- Affiliates
- Creators / streamers
- Messaging apps and communities
- Experience building and scaling engaged communities with thousands of active members
- Strong execution-first, builder mindset
- B2/C1 English level
Nice-to-Haves
- Background in crypto, prediction markets, or Web3 (desirable, not required)
- Existing network of esports or betting creators
- Experience scaling products during high-growth or volatile demand periods
- Comfort operating with limited structure and evolving processes
