Our client is building a next-generation prediction market platform focused on real-time trading across crypto-native and event-driven markets. The platform operates on top of both:
- On-chain data (transactions, liquidity, wallets, contracts)
- Off-chain systems (order flow, pricing, user activity, market state) To support this, the team is developing a data and analytics layer that enables:
- Real-time visibility into market behavior
- Monitoring of trading activity and liquidity
- Detection of anomalies and potential abuse
- Data-driven decision-making across product, trading, and risk This is not just dashboarding. It is about building a reliable, scalable data foundation that helps the platform:
- Understand how markets behave in real time
- Maintain trust and integrity
- Improve pricing, liquidity, and user experience You will contribute to the core data systems that power analytics, monitoring, and market intelligence.
Responsibilities
Data & Analytics
- Help build and maintain dashboards in Hex (or similar BI tools) for market insights.
- Write and improve Dune Analytics SQL queries for trade activity, liquidity, and user behavior.
- Analyze prediction market activity to identify trends and unusual patterns.
- Support data pipelines for collecting, cleaning, and organizing blockchain and app data.
- Assist with reporting on market metrics such as volume, liquidity, and pricing trends.
- Create basic alerts for sudden volume or price changes in markets.
- Support order and trade monitoring dashboards for internal teams.
Security & Risk
- Help monitor markets for suspicious activity such as unusual trading behavior.
- Assist in building dashboards and alerts for risk-related events.
- Work with engineering teams to support data security best practices.
- Help maintain data quality, access control, and secure analytics processes.
Prediction Market Insights
- Support the team with data-driven insights for market improvements.
- Help analyze market performance, pricing signals, and trader behavior.
- Assist in tracking metrics related to market health and predictive accuracy.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related roles.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
- Experience creating dashboards in Hex, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, or similar tools.
- Basic familiarity with blockchain data or strong interest in learning it.
- Comfortable working with data sets, reports, and monitoring tools.
Nice to Have
- Basic understanding of crypto, DeFi, or financial markets.
- Familiarity with Python for data analysis or automation.
- Interest in fraud detection or anomaly monitoring.
- Exposure to prediction markets.
