PU01 - Staff Platform Engineer
About the Company
We are partnering with a fast-growing global technology company transforming how organizations manage employee engagement, gifting, swag operations, and distributed experiences at scale. The platform enables companies to automate and streamline global gifting, employee rewards, swag logistics, onboarding experiences, and operational workflows across dozens of countries through a modern, integration-heavy SaaS platform. The organization operates with a remote-first and product-focused culture, serving a rapidly expanding international customer base through scalable automation, logistics infrastructure, and seamless third-party integrations. The platform supports complex operational workflows involving HRIS systems, communication platforms, authentication providers, logistics vendors, and global fulfillment networks. As the company continues scaling its engineering organization and platform capabilities, platform engineering is becoming central to enabling reliability, developer velocity, AI-native workflows, and operational scalability across a highly interconnected ecosystem.
About the Role – Staff Platform Engineer
Reporting into senior engineering leadership, the Staff Platform Engineer will play a critical role in shaping the company’s platform architecture, developer experience, integration infrastructure, and AI-assisted engineering capabilities. This is a highly strategic individual contributor role for an engineer who combines deep systems expertise with strong product thinking and operational pragmatism. You will help build the internal foundations that allow engineering teams to move faster, scale reliably, and operate securely across a complex ecosystem of third-party integrations and distributed services. The ideal candidate is deeply excited about the future of agentic coding and AI-native software development. We are specifically looking for someone who already operates with tools and workflows built around systems such as Claude, Codex, Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, and modern AI engineering agents as part of their daily development lifecycle. This role is primarily focused on platform engineering, backend systems, infrastructure, integrations, automation, and developer tooling but also requires enough frontend capability to comfortably contribute to product-facing experiences, internal tools, operational interfaces, and developer workflows when needed.
