Role and Responsibilities
As an Agentic AI Engineer, you will help architect and implement intelligent systems leveraging the Google Cloud AI stack as the foundation for scalable enterprise AI deployment. You will operate within an AI-first engineering culture where software delivery is deeply augmented by copilots, autonomous coding workflows, and AI-assisted development tooling. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing multi-agent AI systems on GCP
- Building scalable orchestration layers for autonomous workflow execution
- Developing cloud-native AI services integrated with enterprise systems
- Creating production-grade LLM applications using Google’s AI infrastructure
- Leveraging AI-assisted development environments as part of standard engineering workflows
- Operating within engineering teams where AI-generated code is heavily utilized, reviewed, and refined
- Building reusable internal frameworks for agent orchestration and AI system deployment
- Collaborating with platform, infrastructure, and product teams on enterprise AI initiatives
- Implementing governance, observability, reliability, and monitoring standards for AI systems
- Supporting secure deployment strategies for enterprise-grade generative AI applications
- Contributing to technical strategy, architecture decisions, and AI engineering standards The role requires strong systems thinking and the ability to navigate across AI infrastructure, backend engineering, orchestration workflows, and developer enablement.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- Strong hands-on experience building AI systems on Google Cloud Platform
- Deep familiarity with GCP-native AI services and orchestration capabilities
- Proven experience designing or implementing agentic AI workflows
- Strong proficiency with AI-assisted software engineering workflows
- Daily usage of AI coding copilots and AI-enabled IDE workflows
- Experience integrating LLMs into production-grade applications
- Strong backend engineering and distributed systems fundamentals
